Abstract
High reliance of micro grids on communication networks makes them vulnerable to deliberate cyber-attacks. Thus, this paper not only models MGs in state space, but also presents a Kalman filter algorithm to detect and identify of cyber attacks. In other words, a kind of robust detection algorithm is proposed through combining unknown input observer method and Kalman filter for robust attack detection. To highlight the proper impact of the proposed method, a different method (designed with nonlinear observer based on sliding mode one) is simulated,, and the results are compared. The comparison and simulation results confirm the outstanding and robust response of the designed method, as it detects, identifies, and neutralizes the effect of cyber-attacks in the presence of disturbance and noise, and the comparison shows the superiority of the proposed method.
